Location of
the Hotel
The GRAND Hotel is situated in the small
town, which became a tourist destination of Prague inhabitants
after 1862. Řevnice is namely less than 20 km from Prague,
nevertheless, is located in the picturesque natural protected
area called the Bohemian Karst, in a romantic spot where the
Berounka River flows around the town on one side and the other
side is protected by the hills of the Brdy mountain range.
Thus, it can be deservedly called the entrance gate of the
Brdy Mountains. The HOTEL is situated in a town with three
thousand inhabitants, placed 218 m above the sea level. It
isn’t far from the station on the train path Prague - Pilsen
–Nuremberg, and it is just a several-minute-walk to the
historic-commercial centre of the town. Řevnice is also the
birthplace of the world famous tennis-player Martina
Navrátilová.

Skalka or Svatý Ján pod Skalou, the Koněprusy Caves or the
famous villages of Liteň or Tetín …
Groups:
Different programs can be arranged for
groups: e.g. music evenings with live or recorded music of all
types. To create atmosphere of traditional Czech Christmas
with the pig-slaughtering (hog killing) performance, including
traditional Czech Christmas customs or fencing ensemble
performance along with grilling in the hotel garden. A
gathering at the outdoor fireplace or the garden bar can be
very attractive. Considerable discount is offered to the
groups.
